SHOW AND SHINE AT VANWEST For 2012, the show and shine will take place on Saturday. As you know, the show and shine at VanWest is an informal one, although certificates, trophies and prizes will be awarded. There is no need to pre-book and there is no charge. Winners will be invited to join the Kurbside Kustom display on Sunday and lead the cruise down to the beach. Here's what you do: Arrive on site and be in place by 9.30am on Saturday: ask for directions at the gate and you'll be directed to the show and shine display area. This will be an "accolade" system whereby anyone entering the display and the area of the display will be handed a "accolade indicator" (rather like a postcard) and will place this under the windscreen of the V-dub they'd most like to own. The accolades will be counted and the six V-dubs with the most accolade indicators will be awarded certificates, trophies and a prize. The winners willbe invited to lead the cruise to the beach which will leave site at around 2pm on Sunday. SIMPLE AND STRAIGHT FORWARD EH?
